The people of the Riddermark (as we name our land) are a proud one with a long history that many of the wider world do not know. It is our hope that you will find the answers to any questions you may have about us among the pages of this work.
We will be working on the pages of our history first and then move on to the lines of the Kings, develop maps of the Riddermark and then to help those who are so inclined learn somewhat of our language.
Finally, there are many other, most excellent sources available to those who search out such things that we will list for your reference. Reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy was just the beginning of a long and fascinating journey into how the people of the Riddermark evolved over time to the story that has become so widely known. There is really no way that we have found that is sufficient to thank Professor J.R.R. Tolkein, Christopher Tolkien, Thomas Shippey, Robert Foster, Karen Wynn and the many, many others whose books we will be referencing and one of the most incredible online references it for Middle Earth that we have found: The Encyclopedia of Arda among whose pages it is very easy to happily loose oneself.
